| What to Bring when you attend your Compulsory Basic Training (C. B. T.) Course |
| PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BRING YOUR PHOTO DRIVING LICENCE. IF YOU ONLY HAVE A PAPER LICENSE, THEN PHOTO ID WILL BE REQUIRED (PASSPORT/WORK ID CARD). IF YOU FAIL TO BRING YOUR DRIVING LICENSE THE TRAINING WILL NOT PROCEED AND YOU WILL STILL BE LIABLE FOR THE FULL COST OF THE CBT!! When you attend your CBT course you must consider two things.
Your CBT course will start at 9am on the agreed date. The time taken to complete your course will depend on how many people there are doing the course, the time each person takes to reach the required standard for each part of the course, the weather, and the number of instructors available on that day. The course will generally finish around 4pm, so make sure you bring either something to eat & drink, or the means to get something to eat and drink. Please consider your Clothing. Click here for a list of the required items of clothing we prefer you to wear. REMEMBER Clothing isn't just to keep you warm, it is to protect you. Please also be aware that if you do not reach the required standard, you will be asked to come back at a later date to re-do the course. You will not have to pay for this extra assessment, unless you don't turn up at the mutually agreed date and place without giving at least 24 hours notice, at which time we can re-schedule your CBT course.
